NATIONAL CLEAN ENERGY WEEK

September 25-29 marks National Clean Energy Week – a time to celebrate policy victories and look to the future of American energy production.

Hydrogen energy produces zero or near-zero emissions. It is an incredibly versatile energy carrier capable of serving as a fuel for a wide range of applications, including transportation, electricity generation, and industrial processes. When used in fuel cells to generate electricity, hydrogen produces only water and heat as byproducts, making it a zero-emission energy source. As the world seeks sustainable alternatives without compromising reliability, hydrogen energy stands out with its potential to revolutionize the way we power our nation.

WESTERN CAUCUS UPDATES

Senate Western Caucus Chair, Senator Cynthia Lummis (WY) introduced the Protecting Access to Recreation with Cash (PARC) Act, requiring that national parks accept cash payments as 21 parks have stopped accepting cash.

Cash is the most universal and accessible form of payment for Americans – especially those who choose not to open bank accounts.

This legislation is intended to expand accessibility to America’s 425 national parks and ensure that Americans can continue to enjoy our nation’s wonders without exposing them to fraud or forcing them into a method of payment that is not preferred therefore enhancing small government principles.
