President Biden signed a bill into law declaring the Bald Eagle as the national bird of the United states of America.

The bill was introduced by Senate Western Caucus Chair Cynthia Lummis, (WY) and member Markwayne Mullin (OK).

The Senate approved funding for the “Rip and Replace” program in the 2025 National Defense Authorization Act, ensuring rural telecom providers can replace Chinese-made equipment and protect national security.

Backed Senate Western Caucus Chair Cynthia Lummis, (WY) Chairman Emeritus Steve Daines (MT) and member Eric Schmitt (MO) along with Roger Wicker (MS), the program removes risks of espionage and service outages while maintaining rural connectivity.
